 1) When fishing the syndicate lake please carry your membership card at all times.

2) When fishing the day ticket lake please put your day ticket money into the box on the wall by the toilets before you start fishing.

​

3) Vehicles must be parked in the car park at all times except for loading and unloading. All vehicles are parked at their owners risk.

 

4) All nets, mats, slings and crades must be thoroughly dipped in the disinfectant tank before you start fishing the syndicate or day ticket lakes.

5) Barbless hooks only and no fixed rigs. All rigs must be deemed to be safe. Hook and rig checks will be carried out by our team of balliffs.

​

6) A minimum breaking strain of 15lb main line must be used. No braided mainline (except when lure fishing). Lead free leaders can be used but must not exceed three feet in length.

​

7) No carp sacks to be used, floating retention or weigh slings may be used for no longer than 20minutes in deep water and must be secured to the bank with parachute cord or similar. Fish safety is paramount.

​

8) No baited rods to be left unattended in your swim. When rods are removed from the water hook baits must be removed to protect the wildlife around the lake. It is not acceptable to leave your rods under the control of another angler who is already fishing.

9) No boats, no drones, no dogs, no firearms and no fires. Baitboats are permitted but must be used responsibly.

​

10) No excessive alcohol or drugs.

​

11) When two anglers share a swim only two rods per angler are permitted.

​

12) No under 14's, under 16's must be accompanied by an adult who has paid to fish.

​

13) No uncrushed nuts to be used as groundbait and all particle baits must be properly prepared.

 

14) Keepnets are permitted on the day ticket lake only. Two keepnets should be used one for Tench and Bream and one for all silver species. No more than 50lb in any one net. No Carp to be retained in keepnets except in pre-arranged matches.

15) No fish (including live baits) to be introduced to the fishery.

​

16) No lines to be cast across neighbouring swims.

​

17) All litter, including tea bags and especially fishing line to be bagged straight away. All litter must be taken be taken home with you. Any litter left left behind will result in action as seen fit by the fishery owner.

18) No wading, no swimming, no bathing, no paddling. Please act with caution when entering the water to release fish.

​

19) One spectator, over 14 years of age, permitted per angler.

​

20) Strictly no access to areas marked 'private'.

​

21) No shouting or calling from swim to swim. All noise to be kept to a minimum. No mallets allowed.

​

22) No person shall stay at the fishery for more than 14 consecutive days unless by special arrangement.

​

23) Use the toilet, not the bushes, breaking this rule will result in an instant ban. Leave the toilet clean and tidy.

24) Take your own photographs, do not ask another angler to take photographs for you unless their rods are removed from the water. Please report all catches to the owners and bailliffs and send any catch pictures to aspenlake974@gmail.com 

 

ANYONE BREAKING THESE RULES OR CAUSING A DISTURBANCE WILL FORFEIT THEIR FEES AND WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FISHERY. THE FISHERY OWNERS CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, ACCIDENT OR INJURY WHATSOEVER HOWEVER SUCH DAMAGE, LOSS, ACCIDENT OR INJURY MAY BE CAUSED OR MAY OCCUR. THE FISHERY OWNERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ACCESS AT ANY TIME.
